​Growing up in Africa, my interest in photography started with a childhood appreciation  of nature and the wild and being able to capture its beauty forever.

I have many happy memories of watching my father standing up in the back of a safari jeep with his Zeiss binoculars around his neck and trusty Zeiss Ikon Contina camera (an early 35mm) in hand, recording family adventures which we would watch later in an evening slide show.  I loved the magic of it all.

Fast forward to Australia and the here and now, living on the stunning Central Coast, NSW with my two beautiful daughters, the opening of my portrait studio is the exciting realisation of a long held dream.

Taking photographs is all about capturing moments.  For me, the specialist art of portrait photography is being able to capture the heart and soul of my subject and I strive to achieve this with each image I take.

Everyone who comes into my studio, be they clients or their beloved animals, are welcome guests with a warm invitation to enjoy being the star of their own beautiful portrait.
